How respectable are they?

 

good question. I didn't even know they offered exams.

 

As much as any online certification.

Personally If I was going to hire a designer I wouldn't take preference with someone with that particular certification, but I would take preference to someone who has any certification rather than none.

However I would look for someone who has a wide skills base (i.e. graphics/design qualifications as well as more technical qualifications like HTML or PHP).

I havn't taken that certification myself, since its USA based, but if I saw it on a CV I would rate it as being valid and fairly respectable. (as opposed to a htmlcoolstuff.com HTML certificate or somthing like that)
