W98SE to WXP DOS program-- How?

    I'm 3 days into Windows XP. My old computer crashed, had to. I have a DOS program that I use constantly, --how do I put it on here, how do I run it from DOS? WHAT DOS? etc..... Any reply immediately will help! Thanks!
