Wallowing through Read&Run,please help and have patience

Hello,
I am doing my best to follow the list, I printed it out, and went through it in safe mode, I ran Bitdefender this morning. I think I am ready to do the Panda Scan, but I would like some guidance, to see if I am on the right track. I feel as though my PC is so taken over that even the scans and downloads are tainted. I have tried calling DELL and they will help for too much money, and McAfee, well I could'nt understand them...I think you guys are one of my last hopes. Thank you so much for the help...-Z-

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifAfter doing ALL of the above and you still have a problem, make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below thread to properly use HijackThis and attach the log:

• Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around..

• CounterSpy
• AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy
• Bitdefender - from step 6
• Panda Scan - from step 6
• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
• HijackThis

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

I am sure I am not doing all this correctly, I have looked at others and have seen that you guys frown upon not following directions. Well I have honestly done what I think is what you need, I went down the list, and ran scans and all, but I still am afraid I blew some stuff. I am sending all I can and hope you can make sense of it. I really did try, some of the stuff, I was'nt clear on and hope it comes out right and you can understand it, cause I did'nt even understand most of what I was doing...Thank you again for all the help. And please tell me what I goofed on and I will try my best to send you the right stuff.

 

oh lordy,,,, I am losing control. I am so lost , I thought I had the scan logs worked out and ready to send, then I could'nt get them attached right....I am willing to do all you say, but I am getting so confused and bewildered...thanks for all your help....Zhawn.

 

If you can't attach them just paste them inline and I will convert them for you.

 

Here are a couple things i found, I wonder if it is safe enough to just try and doit all over...now that I sortakinda have a better idea of the process?...My PC it seems I have some sort of Bizzaro Microsoft programs, my music wont play, saying there is problem with sound device, when I was in some admin stuff trying to get these scans run, I swear it seems there is now a new administrator doing stuff, and making the AIO printer thing do crazy fax stuff...I cant even explain how crazy this seems... I will have history of sites I never have seen, stuff I did'nt do, it will say I am logged in to some places, when i did'nt do it...just wierd and hard stuff...I will keep trying to find these logs, I know I ran'em...Thanks again. -Z-

I ran CCleaner, Spybot and CounterSpy again. I am going to try and post results/Logs and see if you get them and if I ran them correctly. Thanks again for your time...

 

Ok i think I got Bitdefender and panda results, Having a hard time with getrunBitDefender Online Scanner
