Wallpaper folder

    where are the default wallpaper images kept in xp pro?

    G.T. R.I.P February 4, 2007. You will be missed.

    The small tiled images are .bmp files in the main Windows folder. Full screen images are .jpg images in Windows\Web\Wallpaper. You can put your favorite images there, or just keep a wallpaper folder somewhere convenient, and "browse" from the wallpaper chooser screen to wherever you have them, which is what I do.

    Thanx GT, I want to add a couple of jpegs to the wallpaper folder I'm guessing thst they should appear in the dropdown menu?
