Want motherboard need help.

Well ppl i have a friend who can install all these parts for me but i just need to figure out what to buy first so i was wondering is some of you smartypant ppl ou there could tell me what kind of motherboard supports these things

1. the fastest and i mean fastest AMD64 chip but DUAL like +4500 i think it was last time i checkd(long time ago)

2. shitloads of ram slots i want to be able to get like 4 gigs or something stupid.

3.2 huge harddrives like 300gig each.

and yeah pretty much the best video card out there i am partial to ATI cards but if some of you out there can put up a good argument as to something better id love to hear it.


So that about sums it up its just that i can finally afford to go totally overboard on a new computer and i always said i was gonna do it atleast once so all the replys i can get would rule THANKS PPL!

1. The fastest dual core AMD processor is the 4800+.

2. Most motherboards support 4Gig, but anything over 2 is really unnecessary.

3. Again, most motherboards will support 4 ATA drives and between 2 and 6 SATA drives.

As for the video card, the fastest current card is the 7800 GTX by nVidia. Also, SLI is much more robust (partly because it's been around longer) than ATI's Crossfire.
