    Hi there,

I am looking for caches (old versions) of a website that has blocked itself from being searchable by google.

    Any tips? Thanks.

Agreed. Many sites, especially smaller ones do this as the bandwidth taken up by various search engines can be to much for them to handle. Considerations would be if they are using free web-hosting then it is likely blocked by the host. If they are paying for hosting then it is likely the fee increases once the traffic reaches a certain point, etc.

Google has a policy where if the webmaster (as Halo stated) has requested that cached versions be removed, then they will be omitted.

You can try typing in cache: then space and the website, but the above still applies.
