Wanted everyone's opinions on a good converter software

Hello everyone with so many video converters out there, I wanted everyone's opinion on the fastest and most reliable video format converter. More specifically into avi format for now. It can be free or not, it doesn't matter I just want a reliable and fast converter.

 

I am using WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe which will set you back $39.95. It's fast and accurate.

I have not used Freemake Video Converter but, it's free and just a 1.21 MB download.

I've used Handbrake, I've used Freemake, I've used Prism, I've used Aimersoft, DVDvideosoft and others. For some reason when I want it fast. I keep coming back to Any Video Converter (custom avi - xvid codec).

 

also looking for a youtube mp3 converter that doesn't put malware on your computer when you're using it....anybody have any more converters like this that you use?

 

You can use Free YouTube to MP3 Converter. Always carefully look at the installation and uncheck any additional installations.

FYI No offense meant, but you should start a new thread when needing a program. :wave

 

Go with Freemake but watch for unintentional installs, make sure you read each window carefully and unclick anything you don't want.

 

Fastest one is Oxelon. Of the very few files it creates errors or stops before finished, quick media converter will do it but it runs on real time, 30 min video usually takes close to or on 30mins. Oxelon can be done in less than half that time.
