I can't say I have seen any Blizzard games (you mentioned warcraft) not show up there.

ok i tried this but there was noting in the program files.(86)
    1. Go to your C: drive.
    2. Open Program Files (x86)
    3. Open Wild Tangent Games
    4. Open Web Link - Dark Orbit (Or Mahjongg, World of Warcraft, etc.)
    5. Double click on Uninstall.

So, if I understand there are no games installed and just the shortcuts appear on the desktop.

    See if this works:
Of course there might be no file location.
I know how to delete an app from appearing on a "desktop" in Android. I don't run Win 8/8.1 so I can't test this.
