Agreed Laura, I certainly wouldn't want to suffer the pain that these folks do while waiting for the inevitable, enough is enough! Mind you, my mum would be beating me severely over the head right about now for saying that.

She put up with all the pain and the hospital's poking and prodding every few weeks. She, above all, wanted to keep on living, no matter what and I had to respect that. She was always lucid in her thoughts.

I would have also respected her wish if it was to end it, no matter what I thought.

I miss you mum.

 

When I met Dan his father was dying, laying in bed wasting away, skin and bones is how Dan described him, wearing morphine patches.
Dan called Kevorkian, ( I asked how he got in touch with him, said he called information) but at the time he was going through some court action and said to call beck next month. His father passed in the mean time.
It's sad that people have to go to prison, have their lives taken away for something that eventually becomes legal. I guess it's because of those people that cause change.
