Dear Geeks and Geekettes

Could any body help me please?

Recently I accidently downloaded Wataterfox beta. Since doing so the game of Farmville2 (Facebook) doesn't send requests to friends making his game impossible to play. I presume the issue relate to cookies or the cache retention.

I have been advised to use google chrome but my computer doesn't seem to like it therefore i cannot use it.

Could somebody please advise me how to get rid of waterfox beta and the how to correct this problem.

go to add/remove programs to uninstall waterfox beta then go for firefox or a stable release of waterfox and you should not experience the problem you having.

 

Waterfox seems to be constantly in a beta state; the vast majority of people simply do not need a 64-bit browser anyway (that's coming from someone typing this reply from a Beta 64-bit browser... ).

I'd suggest using Firefox ESR with the Flash ESR plugin version (ESR = Extended Support Release = secure and stable versions, free of 'fluff' and nonsense), avoid Java in your browser at all costs, if you must use it, keep it inactive/disabled at all other times.

There is a Flash uninstaller you should use to get rid of any old versions before updating Flash: http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/support/uninstall_flash_player.exe <- direct link to the live download!

 

I like the Comodo IceDragon.

It looks like firefox and it seem a lot more stable then the other versions of firefox.Runs pretty fast too.

I think the 38 version was better then the 4.0 version a lot better.

As a rule I do not download Beta versions as I know that they are "testing Models". But a couple of clicks with me in absent minded mode got the download.:-o

Things have been tad busy with a broken phone etc.

Has anybody else tried CommodoIceDragon?

 

I have just installed CommodoIceDragon as a browser and Yipee my game in fb plays just fine.
