We've got an external drive with a shortcut to it on the desk top, but when I've got the internet up it would be much easier if I could access it from the Start button. Is there a way to get it on there? I've got Windows XP.
    Thank you!:)

Drag the shortcut to the Start button, when the Menu pops up drag the shortcut into the Menu.

In stead of going through the efforts of creating a shortcut through your start button, have you considered just clicking on the "Show Desktop" button on your taskbar? That will also give you access to your program. something to think about. Right?

Sweet! That was easy. Thanks! I'll be more efficient now.
There isn't room for the desktop on the taskbar Tony. Especially when I've got 4 streaming radio stations up at once.:-D But I learned 2 new things from this post that I didn't know yesterday. So it's all good.
