Wd Blue 1tb Hard Drive Just Decided To Crash M.2

My WD Blue 1Tb hard drive just decided to crash out of know where.I had ton's of movie files on it.It gave me zero choice to reformat.This drive is only 6 months old.How could it be failing all ready it's barely used.It's only used as storage.

The W10 deleting files bug is not what you initially reported. You said the drive failed. And note that bug was from way back in February and has been fixed.

All drives will fail - eventually. Some sooner than later. That's why keeping current backups is an essential "user" responsibility.
