WD Hard drive NTFS to FAT

Hi,

I just purchased a Western Digital External Hard Drive to backup files on a MacOSX computer. However, the drive is formatted in NTFS and I need it in Fat32 to be compatible with MAC. As it is now, according to MAC the drive is not writeable--and the MacOSX disk utility will not let me format it. (I hate Mac!!). I tried formatting it in WinXP, but it will only format in NTFS. How in the hell do I get it to FAT32?
