I have a Small program called WeatherGopher 0.75.2 installed on my pc
and it always displayed the temp. in either F or C (I had it set to F) in the task bar on the lower right of my screen. I now have a 0 degree reading, and
if I put the cursor over it it states, Wind: Error instead of the
current conditions like it always did. I tried re-loading and everything I could think of but to no avail. I have it set to NOAA weather as my preference. Could you help?

It's a relatively undeveloped piece of freeware that gets bad reviews as per this one:
    http://download.cnet.com/WeatherGopher/3000-2381_4-10302828.html

If a *clean* uninstall of the program, then a restart of your system and clean re-install of the program doesn't resolve the problem, then just forget it and try something more reliable.

Why not go to www.weather.com and mess around with it. long time ago I use to have it on my destop and it would show me temp, wind, and like little warnings came up for storms.

I believe my short e-mail to the terrific programmer on 2/09/10 of the now 183kb (was 150kb) program was instrumental in his release of WeatherGopher 0.75.4 on 2/10/10, his explanation was "0.75.4 released - After 5 years running solid, had to fix server issue. WeatherGopher lives on!"
"Gopher" is a spyware/adware purist! THIS PROGRAM IS GREAT!!! I installed, and my problem is no more.
I checked for the new version here on MG's and CNet (not there yet) but was able to get it directly from the 0.75.2v by clicking "download".
Thanks for the replies! I'm staying with this great spyware/adware free little program. It is quite user-friendly!!!:major

If you'd like to have a great Weather link, that shows the current temp. either in F or C in the right side of your task bar, that also shows current conditions when you scroll over it with your cursor, then you should install WeatherGopher 0.75.2, and once installed, go to All Programs, then find WeatherGopher, left-click, choose Website, then click on Download and you'll over-write 0.75.2, then go to Control panel, Add/Remove program, remove Weathergopher, and then proceed to install, setup.exe (WeatherGopher 0.75.4). I recommend The National Weather Service (the first choice). Sorry, but I do not know how else to get the download right now! It is worth it.:major

:wave Just a small update to install info.! Do all as previously directed in thread, then click download to get WeatherGopher 0.75.6v.! I believe it will over-write 0.75.4v. Still the best little program that gets you directly to "NOAA"! :celebrate

:-D I just deleted WeatherGopher completely, and then went to http://www.weathergopher.com/ clicked download, and 0.75.6 was downloaded without any extra work, clicked "Run", and it installed. :dancer
