    Hello everyone!
In Visual C#, I am trying to make a web browser. I am using the Internet Explorer control. But, whenever I navigate to a page, it saves in Internet Explorer's history. I want to make my own web browser that will have it's own history. I already know how to save the history.
    Thank You!

My best bet would be that you'll have to design your own controller or some how modify the present one. Option 2 wouldn't be my best bet as it is a MICROSOFT controller.....

It's going to appear in IE's search history because you're technically using IE as the underpinning for your browser. It will also appear in your browser as soon as you add the control and code to browse the history.

Your temp files are also saved using the options in Internet Explorer's internet options, to the same directory that IE saves temp files. You're pretty much using IE with a different skin, ala Maxthon, or any number of skinned IE frontends.
