Web Cam Softwear

I have an ACER 4620z with a web cam. The manual said I was on my own as far as softwear to run the web cam. I do not know a thing about them Can anyone suggest some softwear title to run this web cam? I would like to connect to a Sony web cam on my wife's laptop.

It's free for 30 days, but after the trial is up only a nag screen remains; the program doesn't become inactive. If you pay the $29.99 registration, the nag screen disappears and you get access to their support.... A friend uses this for security surveillance and says it's great. I haven't used it personally so I can't really comment....
