Hi I am trying to create an effect on my website using div Layers.. I only do websites as a hobby and I am not an experienced programmer. I am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and I am trying to have an effect where an image will change (layers) when a user moves the mouse over a part of the page. My problem is that I got it to work fine, but if the user resizes the page then everything is off of position. I want to start with a table of 980 x 159 (which would be the minimum page size). I wanted the layers centered in this table even when the page is resized. Is there an easy way of doing this? I know with tables you can set % so part will change with the page when it is being resized. Is there a way to do this with div Layers?

    Thanks for your help.

Dreamweaver was not designed to center layers. It positions every layer from the top right corner. Apparently, only tables can be centered, unless you want to edit the html.

It is actually very easy to do with negative positioning, you can google it and once you see how the html is done its VERY VERY simple, its good for say wrapping ur site for an absolute position.
