web page problems

hi, the other day my son-inlaw did something that changed the size of almost all web pages. i have window me. he played with the resoultion. so i reajusted it and it's better. but my monitor dosn't download a FULL screen. the sides are empty. and in yahoo, when i want to composse a new letter the screen is only about 2 by3 in. where u type the letter. it's as if he compressed everything. and in some sites they load all the way to the left .

can someone help me.

hi, i went to display properties and then settings, advanced and in font size i have small fonts,large and other tried then but that dosn't change how i a web page loads on my monitor. my screen area is 1024 by 768 pixles. if i go less then that the letters are too big. how do i go to ie to change text settings to medium? thanks again

Hold the ALT key and press Prt Scr (usually on the top row of your keyboard)

Prt Scr means Print Screen. So Alt + Prt Scr and it will copy an image of the whatever your monitor is showing. Then open up Microsoft Paint and press Ctrl + V and it will paste this image. Go to File > Save As and save it, then upload it here and show us what ya mean.
