Webcam does not work - Please help

Hi guys. I´m from Brazil and I really appreciate your help! Need to talk to my wife in another country. Sorry for this poor english I have.

I´m trying to use a webcam. I´ve installed the driver properly but
when I try to run the web cam the following message appears: " sorry you have no video capture hardware " I have tryied with 2 different webcams and the same problem happened.

I had others webcams in the past. Don´t know if it could be a problem.
I use Win XP.

I read something about this file, VM303-sti. People said it belongs to a program from Vimicro. I had a Vimicro webcam.

I really appreciate any help!!!

I have already tryied a repair install, and didn´t work. I think has something to do with the old drivers.

Now I´m trying to use a webcam from Clone and another one from a4tech

 

Uninstall the software. Shut down your computer. Unplug the webcam.

Reboot the computer and reinstall the software but DO NOT plug the webcam in until the software tells you to do so. If you connect it before the software is ready it can often be misidentified.

Have you been in to the hardware settings for the webcam and clicked Update Drivers?

Please state the exact make and model number of the webcam you are wanting to install.

 

Yes, I did. I tryied to update the driver but did not work.

Is a Clone webcam model 11089.
