Webcam problems

Hey All,

I got an HP 6662se (laptop) for xmas, and am just now using the webcam (which is built-in) to talk to family and friends across the country. I have all the updates and drivers, and it works whenever I use the basic program (it's a HP Quickplay option). I use Trillian Pro, and through it, I use AIM. I can start up my laptop, and use the camera, but as soon as I start up Trillian, it stops working. So my question for you, is there anyway that starting up Trillian Pro (one of the differences between pro and regular, is that you can use video chat) could cause errors with my webcam.
