Websearchs being redirected, alot of scanning programs crashing, etc.

I've been dragged into helping out a reletive with his computer problems, as it was crashing and alot of spyware were interfering with use.

I've weeded out most of the spyware with the help of your guide, one big problem that remains is webpages being redirected through "websearch10.in" (which made finding solutions a bit of a problem)

I ran all of the tests and programs I could from your "READ & RUN ME FIRST..." except the ones that were unavailable.

If you can help out at all I'd be greatful, thanks!

(RootRepeal couldn't download and the webpage for Combo fix told me not to use it at the moment.)

 

Update: I'm also noticing quite a lot of firefox crashes (it crashed once while I was doing this) it might be while I'm downloading using it, I'm not sure.

Since my last post I've run a normal error-checking/scan on the main hard-drive, not sure if that's had an effect yet on my normal crashes.

 

Now that combofix is working, I downloaded and ran that and I think the problems have cleared up. Sorry for clogging up your forum because I think your excellent READ & RUN ME FIRST has solved all my problems!

I've attached my combofix anyway, just in case for the moment.

 

As far as I can tell it's all fine now, I performed the clean up steps and am now looking into keeping this computer safe (or at least teaching it's owners to keep it safe.)

I can't post those logs that are wanted as I already followed the clean-up steps, but thank you for all the help that you've given even if it was just through your great READ THIS FIRST thread.
