Website design

    This is where I come for all of my computer questions I can't google. Here is a question for you designers.
    There is a site called fullsail, and it is a web design school, untill last week or month they had a guy that walked out on screen and talked to you. Not animated but it was scripted. does anyone know what that is called, and any examples of it I can find.

    Never heard of it. Sounds like your standard online school. If you can afford a program like Adobe Go Live, you can buy a book with training videos. Its a good program, though in the 800 dollar range.

    Thanks for taking the time to answer. I'm not looking for the school, I'm looking for what the character is called, the technique. This site is the only place I've seen it, and the company I am interning for wants to put it on their site.

    It is a flash of a person (not animated) he walks onto the screen and explains menu choices to you. I've googled until I just can't google anymore, I've searched like 100 flash sites, and I can't find anything like this.

    If you click one of the topics on that site then Campus Explorer then I guess that design is what you are researching? ( cannot link to the exact menu as its Macromedia Flash page )

    its a mix of live filmed video of the bloke and then added into a flash webpage, most likely using Dreamweaver 8.

    Oh crap, I got it and am thinking about it, it will come to me. For example, the ad would say "what would you like me to say" in a girls voice.
