    hey guys,

i recently purchased a new Sony Vaio VGN-CR13G and have been browsing on the net when a video codec installed itself on my system. As far as i am aware, it seems to have the title "webvideo support" under add/remove programs from control panel - since this came up as the latest installed application on my system.

Upon trying to uninstall it, nothing happens and it still exists. Effects from the unwanted installation include new toolbar in internet explorer, some new heading just below the top browser options that claims that it has deteced spyware and adware and the icon for search page www.google.com now appears as a msn messenger buddy icon. This is what i have noticed over the last couple of days. If anyone has any idea how to remove this application, you help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanking you in advance.

    sharpear.
