Eating out tonight because Valentine's Day was too crazy. We got quoted at 6.00pm a waiting time of 105 minutes at Outback, and I refused to do it. Lazy weekend...it's been a very stressy week healthwise, but has ended in some relatively good news, so time to kick back and enjoy

 

So I asked our daughter where did she suggest my husband and I ate out tonight for something slightly different. She suggested this as the menu looked good!!! ROFL

Dunno about you guys...I love chinese food but this is taking it a bit too far, and I'm not sure I could eat a whole one anyway.

This one does look cute though.....maybe I could have a doggie bag and take it home instead......

When you don't work, the weekend loses any relevance.

Everyday is weekend, and it never ends. I really need to get off my arse and find a job.

 

Just come in and the gig was awful. We played well but everyone else was drunk/stoned so it ruined it. Shame huh

You talking about the weekend that consists of Friday - Sunday, or MY weekend, which consists of Monday?

Friday: Leave home at noon, drive 80 miles. Work 2-11:30. Check into a hotel.
Saturday: Work 12:30-11:30.
Sunday: Check out of the hotel. Work 11:30-10:00. Drive 80 miles home.

Monday: See my best friend (who flew in Thursday), take the cat to the vet, get my oil changed, do some laundry. Maybe (just maybe, if there's time) see the guy I'm dating.

 

I plan on crashing hard all weekend. Worked both days last weekend in prep for our company changing computer systems/software Monday. They were NOT ready to go live Monday. They're still not ready. Long hours, no lunches, massive screwups and PO'd customers all week and I'm wiped.

And we've got the potential for a good ice storm tomorrow, not that I'll care.

 

Wow GT, sounds like you do need a couple of days of rest.

Oh yeah.....Monday is President's Day.....long weekend!!!!! Yayyyyy

 

In that case I'll take Good Friday and Easter Monday off instead Funny how, as Christian country, we don't get those in the states, but we do get MLK day and President's Day.

 

We're no longer a Christian nation. We're a post-Christian nation, assiduously avoiding anything that even remotely smells like Christianity. Christmas is to lucrative and popular to do away with, but they doing their best to change the name and meaning of it.

 

Okay, you can have the Queen's birthday off, instead. And I aint talking about a section of New York, or the gay community, either. Funny thing is, it's not even the Queen's Birthday when we have a day off anyway, LoL! Those anti-Royalists should get their butts off to work, then, i.m.o. - Heh!, heh!

 

She has 2 birthdays...can I take them both off? What about "Prime Minister's Day" too?

 

Yes, I'll let you! But I don't see that the P.M. is a cause for celebration ~ unless it's a lynching party, or something.
