Weird Combofix error.

I've been getting random cpu usage spikes up to 40% while idle without any programs running. I thought it must be malware so I downloaded malwarebytes, superantispyware and combofix. I ran both MB and SAS and got 0 infected files but when I try to run combofix I get this error:

\startools\startoolsup\" ECHO. "C:\Program was unexpected at this time

Does this mean I'm infected? How do I fix this so I can run combofix?

    Thanks.

I am not familiar with that error message, but please attach the other logs that we request:
    SAS
    MBAM
    RootRepeal --- if it runs
    C:\MGLogs.zip
