Weird DVD situation

So I have a DVD which I burned myself so there's no DRM or anything on it. And it got a very small scratch on it.

I can play it just fine with any program, but when I go to copy it to the HDD, it either fails or gives me a half-corrupted file. I've tried DVD Decrypter (with "ignore errors" checked), and copying/pasting to the HDD. (Currently trying SmartRipper but I have a feeling something similar will happen.)

    Any suggestions?

    Edit: SmartRipper outputs bad files.

Another note: On play, the only indication of bad DVD is the audio going a tiny bit weird for a few seconds.
