I currently have 3 games Need For Speed: Most wanted, GTA San andreas and Saints Row 2. NFSMW plays fine no problems or graphic errors. On GTA SA and Saints Row 2 I get some weird bug where extra pixels will load, buildings load wrong, characters load wrong.

This was on Saints Row 2 Editing my player, This is a mild error here I have seen worse things in gta sa, such as buldings loading all out into the street.. Some building loaded with sooooo many extra pixels/graphics that it caused me to lagg.

    PC SPECS
    Windows XP 64bit SP2
    Intel Core 2 duo 6400
    2.0GB of ram
    Ati Radeon HD 2400 XT

I have ATI Catalyst 10.5 installed

Any advice on how to fix this?

    Hi

Is your GFX card Driver fully upto date?

Have to ask but are the games legit versions? (sorry but need to ask this as graphical glitches do come from warezd and hacked games)

10.5 is the latest driver for that card. They sent me a newsletter a couple of days ago saying they were releasing it. :)

Celeron, how's your DirectX and OS updates? Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the games? Are any other games doing the same thing or only these two?

My gta sa and saints row 2 are legit dvd roms i bought off ebay.. my old card (which i have put back in) is a ATI x1300 and it plays gta sa and saint row 2 with no problems besides decrease in fps ofc

Only these two games are now giving me problems. My OS is not up to date but i am doing that now to see if it helps.

I noticed if the graphics are messed up like in picture i can alt tab and come back to game and it will be fixed, for awhile but errors will show up again

Are you using the same driver for your old card? If not, which one?

Also, if you switched out cards, take a moment to check out the 2400 and clean out any dust from the fan and heat sink. It might just have been so filled with dust it over-heated and went nutso. Everything about your problem points towards the graphics card or the card driver. If it's the driver, we can fix it by wiping it away completely and reinstalling it. If it's the car... if it's still under warranty, you can RMA it.

First I Would like to thank Mimsy & Halo for all of your help!

After updating and still having problems I just went google crazy trying to find a solution. I found out other ppl had same problem even some with nvidia cards, What we had in common was the mobo its a Asrock 775dual-vsta.. From there i was able to find a bios fix on there site. Now I am able to play all of my games perfect!

    Thanks again :D
