Weird issue I'm having with IE involving text fields

This is only happening in Internet Explorer and no where else, but when I go to type in a text field in IE, many things I type in do not even register in the text field (as if I never pushed the keys at all). So, assuming this was IE I was typing this in (I'm using Firefox right now), it would look something like this if I didn't correct it:

Now, apparently it's doing this whenever it feels like it (it's seemly doing this hang thing at random points, and most of the time it's on the YouTube site, though I've experienced it on a few other sites.

Anyone else know/have/can fix this?
