Weird Network Issue...

Hello,

Having an issue and need to pick some smart people brains...

Here's the scenario.

ISP: Comcast
Arris Modem/Router AIO unit

3 computers connecting: Lets call them A, B & C.

If C is off, A&B connect fine. If C connects (wirelessly) A&B show connected to internet but can't reach websites. Gives DNS error.

C was recently upgraded to 10 which is when problem started apparently.

I have tried updating NIC drivers on C, Using a seperate USB WiFi adapter on C no change.

Also tried connecting a seperate router to Comcasts Arris router. Tried different connection possibilities such as A&B connect to Arris unit, C connect to Cisco unit I added. A&B connect to Cisco and C connect to Arris, A, B & C all connect to Arris. None of the above resolve the issue. Will be trying to connect the offending unit (C) to an entirely different Comcast network over weekend to see how it affects other computers on that network. If it does same thing I am rolling unit back to Windows 7.

Also tried dynamic and static IP addresses and various DNS settings such as Googles 8.8.8.8 and Comcasts etc.

Anyone have any input on this??

I doubt it's Win 10. We have one Win 10 system here on a Homegroup with two other Win 7 computers. No connection issues.

 

Just one other thought - are all phone outlets protected with filters?
