:-o Please forgive me if this questions sounds really dumb, but the reason I am asking is because I downloaded a 'coupon' printing program a few months ago and ended up with a nasty virus from it. It took over 2 weeks to fix it and cost a lot of money as well. It's a well known program that is on many major websites, you had to download it to print coupons, so I thought it would be safe. Not safe! It had the virtumonde virus in it.

Anywho.... I was wondering if anyone out there has ever had any issues with downloading Ebay's Turbo Lister program. http://pages.ebay.com/turbo_lister/ I know their company is huge and very reputable, but so was this coupon printer place. Again, please don't make too much fun of me for asking this. I am a newbie on computers :) Thanks for any help.

Hi and welcome. You may ask any question here no matter what and be sure that no one will make fun of you. We are here to help.:)

You should always do a search on software before you install it. Generally, it's a very easy search. Just search for 'software name' Reviews and you'll find problems people have had.

I can't speak from first hand experience with Ebay's Turbo Lister, but a quick search on google basically told me I would not install it on my machine. I saw numbers of problems with bugs. Here is just one of the links from the results of my search: http://download.cnet.com/eBay-Turbo-Lister/3000-2155_4-196740.html

We do not host it here at Major Geeks. There is probably a reason for that. I can tell you that all our downloads are tested before they are listed to make sure they are clean. If you download something from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/ you can be sure it will be a virus free download.

    I use Turbolister 2.
It's not the slickest program in the world, but it clanks along quite well.

It can crash if you ask it to do too much, so you nurse it along.

It saves me hours of listing time, and I can adapt it to suit what I do.

If you're considering it, I say give it a try.

I do remember having to download it twice - the first lot came over in bits.
