I was building a computer on there for my birthday because i am freeing really depressed and thought i would upgrade from a old computer that even lags Battlefield2 and when i went to check out i got this..
Its for parts for a complete system $934.87 worth I would have no problems making the payments on it seeing as the move is done and rent is $100 less among other things that will be less.

This letter is in response to your recent request to open a Newegg.com Preferred Account. We regret that we are unable to approve your request at this time for the following reasons:

I don't quite understand this.. Can anyone offer help? And tell me what it means?

I never applied for a Newegg preferred account, but off the top of my head I'd say they were unable to verify your address, maybe?

I tried changing the address and same thing... Could it be because i just got a cell phone service last month?

Preferred accounts are like credit accounts. You can make monthly payments.

I don't have one, but I'm assuming you have to provide all information including financial info, such as bank information and such.

Knowing it's a credit account, I would have to guess that they couldn't verify the financial info you gave them.

Contact their customer services, it's probably a verification thing - we get it all the time at work and 99% of the time it's just the system that's flagged something and is ok :)

As they're a big company they probably have a backlog of emails to get through, so I wouldn't worry!

The few couple of times I have needed to contact Newegg's customer service, I have called them. The wait was a bit long, but once I got to a person she (a woman both times) was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Maybe try a phone call?
