Well it’s official. I’m an old fart. I went to audiology today and got my hearing tested. Hearing aids both ears.

 

In my world, that makes you a sound guy. Age doesn't matter! :-D

 

I have respect for anyone who will get and wear hearing aids. Sadly many people are to vain to wear them. Their loss because they are missing a lot of what is said. So good for you!

 

I am with TimW, I can't hear a word you are typing.

Wear the hearing aides. You can always turn them down and ignore people. :-D

And of course, you can get the hearing aids that fit inside the ear canal, so they're pretty much invisible, anyway.

@ Dave:- yeah, I said to someone just yesterday, "I'm getting too old for this..", as I have to wear glasses for fine print reading nowadays. Okay, so I'm 56 now, (Ugh!), but I just cant stop the old Cornea thickening.

 

Just paint them white and put an apple logo on it, even people who can hear will fight to be the first to buy them.

I've got hearing problems AND bilateral cataracts AND I fart a lot because of my medications. I must be "over the hill". rolleyes

Thanks and likewise Laura, love wine. Had just at least an hour and a half or more conversation with my daughter and son-in-law re their computer problems Mentally exhausted now. I advised them in the end to have a reinstall done.

 

Hmm, had my eyes done some years ago as I had cataracts and wore heavy duty glasses and was blind as a bat. So yes, old but not a bat. :-D
