I've had a 512 stick of PC3200 in my computer for a while. And a 512 stick of PC2100 sitting there in a drawer. I finally got the guts to stick the 2100 in, and back the 3200 off to match it. I pulled it all down to 5,2,2,2, and fired it up. It is running dual channel just fine.

Different speeds, different make, etc. Haven't had a problem yet. Lord, I love this A7N8X-E Deluxe board. :D

It's memory timings. They are set in your bios setup.

Mine is set to, Active precharge delay=5
    RAS to CAS delay=2
    Ras Precharge Delay=2
    CAS Latency=2

These timings are usually set automatically, but I played with my settings to get the two sticks to work together in Dual Channel.

Yo Dperino, change the 5 to 11, so it's 2,2,2,11 AMD's love it.

I thought it was just the nForce2 boards that loved it?

All this memory timing stuff. Does it just apply to dual channel. Right now i have one stick of pc2100. Can i mess around with the timings to get better performance or is it just with dual channel.

I have an nforce board so will changing the timings like Cashy said do better for me?

    Thanks
