Got a friend that has a little red toyota truck and it is probably a good 10 yrs old with over 350,000 miles and he still drives it 60miles to work and back everyday!!!!

Goes to show that if you do take care of them properly...there are vehicles out there that will last!!!!

It's got a renix 4.0 I6 in it, so the going rate for those before a rebuild is about 350K.
Tranny's got some issues, weak sncros in second and third. Looking for a later model transmission to do a swap to the stronger 5spd.
Other than the trany it's cherry.
Electrical system is in good shape, transfer case and diffs are solid, tried out the 4WD the other day. It's basically a tank.

 

i got offered a 1979 jeep truck (like that one) but i dont know if i should get it its in ok shape good project truck what do you think?
