XMMS and kmplayer, both Linux programs.

I've always thought the sound was better with XMMS than its Windows counterparts. Lately, my Dvd play has been jerky. It's because the drive isn't being cached properly, and I don't know how to fix it. With Kmplayer I can adjust the cache and it doesn't jerk.

Hello, only my 2nd post so if this is not the right area for this questions maybe you can direct me..

I use outlook express email a lot and use some html signatures. I am trying to find out if I can download any type of sound i.e music to the sound system with in the outlook express sound.

There is a song that I found that I would like to attach to an email, on the web site it has a bar that sez download. I down load it and it goes to my desktop. I have Window Media 7.

I cannot figure out how to transport this music to the background sound in outlook. When I click on the sound within outlook it puts a media folder and then lists all the different sounds and there is a midi files that has different muscial sounds.

I might be trying to do something that cannot be done, if anyone has any information on how to do this would appreciate your help.

Thanks and have a good day

    Hello and Welcome :)

Its usually best to start a new thread with your question as its usual for some older threads like this to re-surface now and again and most members will overlook it.. thus not seeing your question.

but as I noticed your question try this Open a new email in HTML format then goto Format > Background > Sound ( bare in mind that not all sound file formats can be played ) then browse for file and click ok

Sounds will only be heard by the recipient if they have their email set to accept HTML emails and not Plain Text.
