Went To the DC car show yesterday

    It was my first car show and it was definitely cool! Only $10...at that price anyone could go and should go. The only frustrating part is seeing concept cars that you know will never see mass production. The Lincoln MKR could be the coolest car I have EVER seen. Unfortunately it looks as though it will remain a concept car but I'm sure that some of the technology that went into creating this remarkable machine will make its way into other Lincolns. Check it out...(Note: this article real doesn't do the MKR any justice. You need to see it in person to truly undertand how unbeleivable it is!) :drool

    Yeah I love autoshows too not been to one in a few years tho, so must make it to this years UK or German Inter Auto Shows.

    The Lincon does look nice, if they put that design as is into production it maybe a competitor to BMW and Merc Benz mid to high end range, especially as it has a touch of the Maybach about it.



    Sadly I'm a sucker still for Italian cars.

    I'm waiting to go to the Chicago Auto Show. I have not missed it in 11 years - always a trip. I will post pics once I come back. I'm going Feb 10.

    USed to do the classic shows around the 'Cuse, but got away form it for a while. Personally, my dream cars (yeah, 2 tied for first) are the Delorean and the Lamborghini Countach. I know the Delorean isn't much, but it looks soooo cool!!!

    I besides the cool Lincoln MKR. I also saw some unique things that are coming out in 2007. Dodge has released a car called the nitro which has an entertainment interface called a mygig. It has a 20 gig HD and can hold a ton of songs and you can even upload pictures on it. A guy at the car show was explaining that you could put your favorite cd into the mygig and as you listen to it you could upload all the songs onto this unit. It looks like a fun car for midsize suv. I also thought it was cool that it had it's own myspace page
