What a crock

Some days I just love my life. please note the sarcasm dripping off that comment.

I guess I figure that when you work your butt off for a company and always go above and beyond when they ask you too, even to the point of almost loosing your second job, that perhaps you should be treated halfway decently.

instead, I am sitting here celebrating the first half of my birthday at work getting chewed out by the boss for something that I have been doing for about the last 8 months. no 'hey, can you not do that' or anything, just a chewing out. This was on top of first asking me to work on setting up a traiing program and then leaving me out of the loop, and just about dropping me out of it all together.

Just gets a little frustrating sometimes.

As for the boss that's a typical attitude from the self centered managers they seem to breed these days they forget that without the people who work under them there is no justification for THEM and that works for owners too, if you have good employees treat them with respect and it will in return bring a mutual respect also a happy employee is much more productive.

I can relate to your rant. I could list three examples of things we had been doing the same way for freaking years that suddenly were deemed "wrong" by newbie PTB's (Powers That Be). It was the main reason I gave up the training officers' position, which I'd held for almost a decade. I just cannot comprehend some management types . . . rolleyes

My revenge is that folks call me when the deffication hits the rotating cooling device . . .

Look, life's knocked me off my bike more than once before, if you'll pardon the expression, but I've found that problems have a way of turning around when met with patience and persistence. Just get back on, pursue your career/ employment, and don't let negative people like your boss belittle you. There's always a way to succeed if you believe in yourself.

Fortunately, i have some options available if I decide that the stress is not worth the cash (2 jobs makes life a little easier that way )

On the good side, I made sure that I have this weekend off... getting the heck outta dodge for the weekend, going to camp. Park the car friday night and be intoximicated as soon as possible thereafter

No, I am not a regulr drinker, I usually reserve that for my camp trips. Best part is they have WiFi this year so I can even chek inhere when I sober up Sat AM.

The nice thing is that it will give me a chance to decompress and relax so I can put things in perspective and think about it.
