What a weekened

Hello, everybody.

Been a few days since I've been able to logon. Crazy Weekend and last couple of days. Windshield on the car got broken, had to get that replaced. Insurance covered the total cost. Glad I picked up Glass Coverage, that's $238 that didn't come out of my wallet.

Pump in the well went out Sunday Night. Spent all day Monday trouble shooting the electrical system Had the pump out of the well Monday Night and was troubleshooting the pump when a T-storm blew in. Got the pump back in the well and the well capped just before the skies opened up and poured; and I do mean it poured. Put a new pump in last night. $325 with tax for the pump and that was after I talked the guy down from $341 for the pump.

All in the midst of Wedding preparations. My youngest daughter is getting married on Saturday. Making sure everything is in order and we haven't forgotten anything. Of course I've been doing some extra work to pay for all this. So, my days have been pretty filled lately. Things should slow down some after this weekend.

Then in about a month my other 2 are back off to college, for another school year.

 

When it rains.....it pours.

A wedding and sending two off to college, might be a little longer before things are back to "normal".

With all that going on, you're likely just a shadow of your former self.

Stopped raining about 10 minutes before the ceremony. Weather cleared up nicely yesterday. Huge BBQ at my house afterwards.

Busy, busy busy! Repairs...kids back to school AND a wedding to boot! You ready for a vacation yet? LOL

Nice pics!! Looks like everything went good, and the bride looks happy (MOST IMPORTANTLY)!!!!

With all that has been going on the few weeks...after that you'll feel like you're on vacation!! Sounds like you are the one that needs a homeymoon!!

Speaking of which...where are they headed for the honeymoon?? My wife and I went to Gatlinburg, TN and had a blast!!

With everything that has been happening I could use a vacation. No Honeymoon, they couldn't afford it, and with what I spent I couldn't afford to send the newlyweds on a honeymoon.

Outdoor weddings are so nice, especially when the weather cooperates. Stopped raining just before the ceremony, temp around 75F.

At least the next year of school for my 2 eldest is already paided for, completely.

There is a bit of an age difference between my daughter and son-in-law, but they seem happy. My oldest daughter and her boyfriend fight like an old married couple. She's planning on a "BIG" wedding.

 

That there is the bottom line!!!!!
