What Addon To Make Windows 10 Show Thumbs For .mpg ?

Hi,
unlike win7, win10 does not show thumbs for .mpg, only for .wmv and .mp4

What add on is safe and will generate thumbs of .mpg for file explorer and any other view into my hard drives as I am used to in win7 ?

I just paid $9 for FastPictureViewer and have only gained .psd photoshop files with thumbs. even adobe illustrator files are still icons let alone .mpg .eps. .dxf etc etc.
Basic stuff is this for starting with a new OS.

If the add on can make thumbs for .dxf .dwg .eps then even better, Msoft just havent bothered , I thought win10 would be better, not break things that worked.

I have just spent 3 hrs being passed about in Msoft 6 agents all wasting my time then 'our offices are now closed'. Whole evening wasted yet again with them.

We're no longer offering the Windows Essentials 2012 suite for download, is the Msoft page when clicking on Photo Gallery, also being told its discontinued for win10 on www.

I have found a youtube on how to get it.

and scroll down then at right hand side left click on the windows executable and download it then untick all but the photogalley at install it says.
