What am I doing right?................

No probs, no complaints. I only want to note that it has been mega wks since I had a virus/spyware/trojan/ prob. I have the following in use either manually or auto............... Spybot S&D/a2/CCleaner/Ad-aware personal SE/Spyware Blaster/Microsoft antispyware/ Trend Micro PC-cillin internet security. Have my fingers crossed when I say this is the cleanest comp I have noticed around here . I am always surfing the web and not too careful when I open emails, sites, etc. As I say, what am I doing right or is it luck.

Properly protected PCs rarely get problems (assuming the person using it does not surf in bad places or allow/give permission for bad stuff to install).

I'm online more than most people every are and to test spyware problems I also even connect with test PCs having no protection (no spyware blockers, no AV and not firewall) but most if not all Windows Updates for the OS type are installed. Even with this major deficiency, I do not get infected unless I purposely surf bad sites and accept bad certificates and downloads.

Remember one thing though, not all malware reveals itself to you. Some of them do a good job at hiding themselves. They do not want you do know they are working behind the scenes.
