Malware removal usually does the trick LOL

Reading yet another Nicci French. Don't think I'll quit until I have blasted through them all. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Hope I'm not starting to sound like the gal who loves Tom Petty :innocent

Once again, "The Last Planet" by Andre Norton . . . a solid sci-fi tale about a remnant of the Stellar Patrol in the twilight years of the Galactic Empire . . . one of the first sci-fi novels I ever read, and still in my top 10 of all novels. Whenever I need a light, good read, it fits the bill.

Never read that one, but I have read the Landover series. Good tales (my wife says I'm her Paladin :) )

A Guide to Rational Living by Ellis and Harper.
After the 50th birthday the motto is: the next fifty years are going to be different from the last fifty years. But it's hard to break old habits, especially the habits of thought. Ellis and Harper keep it pretty simple.
Their idea is that we have a tendency to awfulize our problems - saying "My wife hates me/I've got a lousy job/select other alternative and that's AWFUL!" Taking the drama out of your viewpoint brings you closer to managing the problems and achieving your goals.

And when I need a break from that - mostly comics. Commies From Mars or Tales of The Leather Nun.

I'm very close to finishing The Silence of The Lambs by Thomas Harris, I've read Hannibal Rising and I'll be reading Hannibal all by Thomas Harris. I love his writing style and the fact that he takes you to such a messed up person, I find all the killers he writes about extremely interesting.
If you can handle a thrilling and suspenseful book(s) I'd suggest him.

Good reads, redtearsblackwings - have you read Red Dragon yet? IMO, the best of the lot - lays the foundation for all of the others in the line.
