What company has the fastest pc3200 RAM

What company used to make the fastest ( or at least good quality) pc3200 1gb 400mhz DDR PC3200 UNBUFFERED NON-ECC 184-PIN DIMM
RAM?

I recently tried to upgrade my RAM from 2.5gb to 3.25gb by adding a 1gb module (in place of a 256mb) from edgetech I got on ebay, but after the switch both the 3d mark05 and the passmark 7 benchmarks got significantly worse, despite the new memory being properly detected.

I went back to my prior memory configuration because the benchmarks worsenned.

I have an HPa1210n pavillion with 2.5gb RAM (1gb-1gb-256mb-256mb), windows xp media center version, opteron 180 cpu, hd4850 videocard.

Not going to get into the "fastest vs. fastest" debate, especially with RAM - just too many variables to consider, at least for me...

I will, however, recommend that you take a look at Crucial.com - never had a problem with their products, they guarantee compatibility and in my experience they are 100% in service and support.
