What could I do to mod this case?

It already had a X shaped window on the side of it, and a LED case fan in the side in the middle of the window.

I was thinking a blowhole in the top, but I dont know what else.

Some cathode tubes, some LEDs?
Perhaps a large display to go under your cd drive?

 

clean up the wiring, wrap them in UV reflective material, and put in some 4 to 12 inch uv cold cathode lights, do install a blow hole with a 80mm fan, may put in a lighted 80mm fan there with a cool fan guard!

 

A larger window would allow more lights to be seen and look better.

 

Maybe get a theme?
Most really awesome cases have a theme, mine is a flying red skull.
The water cooling, and modded BIOS do not get the attention the carved and back lit skulls do. I also have two 8" stained glass skulls to match flanking the LCD monitor which hide the speakers.
My friend has a flocked black and yellow "bumblebee" complete with head, wings, legs, etc. Shuttle did the case which is the bee's body, he hangs the bee above his "hive" monitor, good air circulation and certainly a head turner. Hive is still being worked on.

Fish tank computers are always novel if you water cool.

I have never seen a "lava bed" (like lava lamp) computer, but it should work. Get clear case, a liquid cooling system, immerse the mb in transformer oil (mineral oil may work) and mount it on its side at eye level. Figuring the density for the lava would take some work, but it would certainly be excetpional.

you could drill 2 2 80mm holes in the lower left corner of the case to cool your ghz card
