What do guys say about Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft MCSE, CompTIA A+ Exams?

What do guys say about Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft MCSE, MCP, CompTIA A+, Network+ Exams ?

 

Others have said getting these qualifications won't get you anywhere. I personally think that these qualifications are respected by employees even if you aren't going into IT but going into say, an office job. If they see that you are well qualified within IT then they know that they don't have to go through too much, if any, training for using a computer for the job.

all exams are good exams. the more pieces of paper and/or letters after your name you can get, the better your chances of impressing somebody. aloha

 

My question is, are these certificates real ? Are they realy Cisco and Microsoft certifictates ? Are they approved by any board or higher authority?

 

They are authentic!! Besides a degree...these are the next best thing as far as a piece of paper showing that you know this stuff!!

I'm actually looking to start getting some of them within the next year I hope!! As soon as I get the money that is!!

Just make sure the center you wish to go to is authorized by the developers of the certificates!!

For example...New Horizons Computer Learning Centers (which is worldwide, by the way) have a Microsoft "Gold" level partership award...which is the highest you can achieve from Microsoft, if I recall correctly!!

You don't have to take classes to take the test...if you feel you already know the stuff...then you just simply pay the money to take the test at a facility that is authorized to give that certain test!! So if you want to take the A+ test...then you go to a facility that is authorized by Comp Tia, or to take the CCNA...look for authorizations from Cisco...etc., etc.!! The big money comes in where you go to a "learning center" and pay them literally thousands of dollars to teach you the material that is in the cert. test, and then as part of the class they also administer the test also!!

I've been researching this for myself for quite awhile now, and I've found that "New Horizons Computer Learning Centers" is known to be a good school, and fortunately they have a center in my neighboorhood...and they also do alot of their stuff online!! If anything...you can give them a call or e-mail, and they will be able to answer your questions and help you figure out what you want to do!!

Where are you from...maybe there is a center in your neighboorhood!!

Yes we do have New Horizons Computer Learning Centers also in my country and as you said they are world wide but unfortuntly the Ministry of Education, which is the authorty of lagelinzing any ceretificates issued by these kind of centers, do not recognise them.
But this not what I ment, I need to know what American board and goverment authorty lagelized these certificates? By the way online studying is not lagel in my country and there for any online test and as a reselt of it online certificate is not going to be lagel by any means and it would worth nothing. So I need to make sure that they are ok and worth paying & taking them.
