what do I do about a 2-inch blank space that opens up at the top of my browser?

  1. For a while I'm using a Mozilla browser named Wyzo, and I think it's pretty good. But now after I'm on it a few minutes a two-inch blank space opens up at the top between the menu bar and the header (is that the right term? --where the X for clicking out is found). Of course I'm unhappy to be robbed of screen space.

I've tried dragging the menu bar up toward the top where it belongs, and I get nowhere. I don't know what causes it, and I don't what to do to reverse it. Any advice would be much appreciated.

My guess is, check the support forums over at wyzo.com and see if others are having that issue. Just because they are utilizing the Mozilla engine, does not make it a Firefox browser.

It is still a third party product that you should be over on their site, and letting the software manufacturer know that they have a issue with their product.

  3. Thanks. I'm using Wyzo as a temporary measure. It doesn't have its own Help. You click on Help and it directs you to a Firefox site. I noticed Mozilla store extensions tend to be incompatible. It runs very nicely, but I think it's sort of an orphan browser, so I won't stay with it long term.

Just my 2 cents, but with wide variety of browsers out there, why use one with no support? Using an off brand browser, cobbled together with parts of Mozilla, parts of who knows what makes little sense to me.

Is there a specific reason that you are enamored with this browser? Firefox, Waterfox for 64 bit and Palemoon, Chrome.... Any of these good for you?

  5. I'm on 32 bit, so some options aren't there.

I tend to put a lot of tabs on my browsers, and I got Wyzo just to play videos on and because it's one of the browsers listed for which All Browsers Memory Zip works.

I've been using Opera a lot. I really like Pale Moon, and I will be getting back to it soon.

I tried to look in at the Wyzo site and Malwarebytes blocked me.
Personally, I would not use a browser from a site that MBAM thinks might host malware.
