what do i need

    basically my phone line goes into a little blue box which converts it to a USB, but I want to convert it to a RJ-45 so I can connect it to my wireless router

    do I just need a RJ-11 to RJ-45 adapter

    your router is not gonna work that way, unless you buy a specific designed router to share dialup internet, currently the apple airport line happens to be the only common model i know that can do that.

    what is the make and model # of your modem? i take it you have dsl for your internet connection? are you sure there is no other connections on your modem? it's possible that you might need a different modem. more info is needed. - sos
