What do you guys think of this?

Ok i got this pc from the trash. All and all it was worth the pick up i got the fallowing that work perfect.

CDRW
Dual Layer DVDRW
160gig sata hdd
P4 630


Now the mobo wont work. I tested the P4 in my buddys mobo and it worked perfect but when i started looking over the mobo i found one of the caps above the cpu socket has a pretty deep dent in it "see pics" Its really to close to say if its just a dent or a small "very small" rip to.

When i hok it all up the CR3J1 Led comes on "+5V+" and i press the power button and nothing happens. Could this cap be the casue? If so i got some spares laying around and should i swap it out?

Outher than that cap all outher componets look good. Seems like the heatsink caused that.



Also sorry for the crappy pics. Im useing my eye toy to take the pics since i dont have a digital cam.
