    Hey everyone,
Just got a new DVD burner.

    1. What is the best software for copying and EDITING. I want to take out stuff (credits and begining intro's from hundreds of Star Trek episodes) from the original for seamless scene changes and space effeciency on the blank media. My new Benq came with no software

    2. What media should I use, Ritek, Verbatim, DVD+R or DVD-R? WHAT DO U USE?

I dont own DVD Burner YET! But was looking for software for the one I dont Own yet: this what Im looking at.
Xcopy (Studio 321)( software banned no new production)
    I COPY DVD's 2 ( also federal Court baned)
    Nero 6

PS I would only make Legitimate, Leagal copies, of my media.

So DVD editing is not a good idea huh, is a straight copy less illegal than an edited copy?
