What does that little icon mean?

The tiny one, next to your name. Some folks have a frown, some only have a blank upper half.

 

It indicates your status. If its just a blank upper half the user is offline

Everyone feels like that at least once in their lives. Don't worry about it.

 

Just once? I am way over my quota then.

Hell, even my cats make me feel stupid.

Of course that is my fault for teaching them advanced differential equation solving. And here is hoping that they never figure out how to grow that opposable thumb thing, my life will turn into hell at that point.

It was only last week I found out what the red triangle to the right does to scared to click it yet though

 

It is not a "blank upper half", it is a helmet When you are wearing your helmet you are on-line unless you are the invisible man...

 

I may have violated the usage of said icon a few times. I realized after 2-3 weeks ago, that it was only for certain issues that you report.

After reading what it is really intended for. :|
