What Ever Happened To The Yellow Shorts?!

I was just wondering about them, and I have a few ideas about what could have happened...


1. The postman just couldn't resist that magical obsession with the yellow shorts.
2. The last recipient was blinded by them upon opening the package and has been wandering around in the desert ever since.
3. The shorts took on a life of their own and walked off in search of Eric. They should arrive on our doorstep around Christmastime.
4. The package was misdirected and ended up in the hands of Osama Bin Laden who plans on duplicating them and dropping them on the unsuspecting people of Idaho.


Any other ideas?.....

Nah, they were MEN's shorts. Eric wore them. They looked like this only yellow.

I don't know if those shorts will bring about any comraderie...if they do, I think we're all sick, really really sick!

 

As you can see, Eric really misses his shorts. It's all he talks about lately.

"Who has the shorts" "Do you think they're ok?" "What if someone gave them to Goodwill or (gasp) threw them out!?"

he's really worried.

and I'm worried about him.....

 

If someone gave them to Goodwill, they're probably on their way to Southeast Asia or Africa. Americans donate so many used clothes to Goodwill and other charitable agencies, that most of it gets sold to 3rd world countries where there's a huge market for it.

I have s sick suspicion that they're probably on their way to ME. Star would want to make sure they get to me while I'm still around to be shocked and sickened by them. Yes, he's just that evil.

The shorts aren't that bad, it's not like they are radioactive or something....or maybe they are, they do give off a quiet yellow glow, like out-of-date Napalm

 

Maybe I could wear them through my next set of x-rays to give them a boost.

Actually, I thought it was the paperboy delivering them, but it was the postman doing his first ever drive-by delivery, in a biohazard suit no less

Reading some interesting news, seems that CryoSat (Euro-Soviet co-op) never made it to orbit, a command was missed and it plunked into the Arctic Ocean, and the Chinese may have to postpone their second manned launch due to unusally cold weather. No Thiokol people on that launch team

 

Gee, that's too bad. And I thought the "Made In China" label had outgrown the cheap-crap category.

 

The Chinese got about 90% of their rocket technology from the Soviets; if it weren't for the decals, it looks just like another Soyuz.

I got tired of waiting for the mystery to be solved,, so I went and bought my own pair of funky yeller floor hockey shorts. I didn't look quite as cute and frilly in them as Eric did,, and they don't look as good on my wall as they did on Star's,, so I guess mine were't mythical enough.
